4/52 - Rule of Thirds - Atrial Fibrillation
While looking up at the cardiac monitor, I noticed the clear horizontal thirds that were formed by the waves of my husband's heart rate and oxygen saturation monitor. Of course, I was a bit miffed at the fact that I didn't have my camera with me but I got over that rather quickly and just took a quick shot with my iPhone. A few hours in the ER, some IV propofol and a quick shock with the paddles at 150 joules and we walked outta there to have lunch on a street side patio. Thank goodness for modern medicine, and the fact that we are Canadian :)
