Black Rhino-how could anyone say I'm not beautiful?
This black rhino is one of the few left in Africa-they are being poached to extinction for their horn, which is thought to have aphrodisiac properties, but is basically nothing more than fingernails. This rhino is protected by armed guard and electrified fence at a huge private ranch in Laikipia, but is still severely threatened.
How very sad.
