Female brambling feeding on peanuts
Female brambling feeding on peanuts in my backyard. First I didn't have a clue what this bird was, but this morning someone suggested it was a brambling, and checking various websites I have to concur with this opinion. (Thank you, Mr & Mrs Apteryx australis.)
