Pamplemousses is known for its botanical garden. The garden is 40 hectars. It will take you three hours just to walk it, briskly. Don't expect too much however: Most of it is badly managed by typical standards, uninteresting forest and wasteland, and the few sights could as well have been crammed into three hectars. If you go there with the idea of taking photos, do not take one of the tours and instead go by yourself, because anyway else clouds of people will continuously step into the frame of your shots, no matter what.
