Sometimes luck lends itself and you manage to be at the right place at the right time. Our Atlanta to St. Lucia flight was one of these times. We were flying over Florida September 9th and managed to be just inland and overhead of the space shuttle launch. Luck even had my camera close by but not so lucky as having a long lens on. These photos still came out ok with a 50mm lens on a Nikon D80.
