Best Dolls of 2014
Sorry this is a WHOLE MONTH late, but I've had lots of crap happening in my life lately that's made me too busy or tired to take doll pictures for a loooong time. Sorry this is slightly blurry, it was starting to get dark outside when I took this.
From left to right:
Witty Magic Accessories Roxy doll- This doll miraculously appeared on German ebay for about $35 earlier this year, and when I didn't have the money for this chance of a lifetime, ShiningStella stepped in and paid and got her for me. One of my most wanted Winx dolls, and I finally got her this last year thanks to a great friend. :)
Winx Club Jakks Pacific Believix Tecna doll- Finally got this doll for FREE from another friend. :D She's got my favorite customization job of all the JP Winx dolls.
Disney Store 2011? Pocahontas doll- I got this doll from ShiningStella ages ago, but I haven't wanted to take pictures yet because I still don't have an old Mattel necklace for her. I also had to chop her hair shorter because it was too frizzy along with adding a new belt, so she's technically still a work in progress. She's amazing though, best DS Pocahontas doll ever.
Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus Aiden doll- I honestly never once considered the fact that I might own this doll one day. I only collect "princess" and "magical girl" type dolls and not "prince" characters because I just don't have the space or money. It's cool to have at least one that I got totally by surprise though, he'll make a handsome companion to Annika once I get her.
Giochi Preziosi Mini Elyon doll- HOLY CRAP GUYS I never thought I'd be lucky enough to own this doll. Thanks to a trade with Divergent, I have a chance of actually finishing my mini WITCH doll collection at some point.
Barbie in the Diamond Castle Alexa doll- I miraculously got this doll for about $25 new in box. I was really surprised that NO ONE else had noticed her, like, literally I was the only bidder with no other watchers. I can't wait to get Liana so the two can sing together.
2014 Beach Steven doll- Best $5 I've ever spent. He's so photogenic, has the cutest smile, and looks great with every girl doll I pair with him. Probably one of my favorite dolls I've ever owned.
Winx Club Jakks Pacific Believix Aisha doll- The last doll I needed in the JP Believix doll collection. I think I got her soon after I got Tecna, so that was all really cool that I got the last two so close together. She's got my least favorite customization job, but that's just because I wanted to get it done fast and didn't really care since she was the last doll in the series.
Barbie Pearl Princess Lumina doll- I can honestly say I haven't had such a connection to a Barbie doll ever since I was actually playing with dolls when I was little. There's something about this doll I just love, and she's got some of the prettiest and silkiest hair I can't stop brushing. She's gorgeous and one my ultimate favorite dolls I own.
2014 was a great year for dolls for me. Hopefully 2015 will be even better since I want to start saving up for some more expensive dolls. I haven't gotten any new dolls all January, but I should be getting some new Disney Store dolls in February for my birthday. :)
