When Sunrise Burns
onboard Cebu Pacific from Manila to Davao. I took the 4 am flight, braving the so early flight to catch the sunrise. naturally, I took the emergency exit row (for more space) and window seat on the right side of the plane facing the cockpit to get a view of the sunset going down south of the Philippines. I was utterly frustrated when I could only see the thick dark cloud. I waited for minutes until i dozed off. good thing the flight stewardess came to give me the change for the herb chicken i ordered earlier (cebu pacific is a budget airline, so you need to pay for the food) the lo and behold, when i look outside of the window, the sun showed itself for a minute with all its gradeur then disappeared again. All is grace.
