Greater Sage Grouse Environmental Portrait

Last year, this wheat field was converted into a special Sage Grouse CRP program. The wheat stubble was plowed under, and native prairie grasses were planted in it's place.

I hope to be able to continue to photograph this lek each year, and to document the progress of the habitat restoration.
