Science Night
some things i've learned.. black light emits high energy ultraviolet light. Fluorescent substances absorb this light and re emit it immediately. some energy gets lost so the emmited light has a longer wavelength than the absorbed radiation.. and causes it to be seen or appear to glow.. this is vitamin b crushed and diluted in vinegar, solids strained. it smells pretty bad! you may not want to try this at home!:) it is quite beautiful though.. Amber is supposed to be fluorescent.. i'll have to give it a try!
