Imberbus 2013
The usual once a year mayhem occurred on Saturday 3rd August. An intensive service of Routemasters once again ran to the village of Imber on Salisbury Plain, abandoned since 1943.Every now and again the army allow access into the village, normally used for exercises....somehow I doubt that they ever expected this!
As usual the service was registered by the Bath Bus Company - but they get a lot of help from their friends!
A formation departure from the 'Gore Cross Interchange' (as named by the Wiltshire CC public transport unit, who enter into the spirit of things!)
I was on open-top RMC1510, leading duplicates in the form of RM5 and the Borismaster bound for New Zealand Farm Camp, whilst the other RM and RML were bound for Imber and Warminster
