Hainault-Woodford shuttle

This quiet backwater of the Central Line used to be operated by experimental motor cars built by Cravens in 1960. These sandwiched pre-1938 'standard stock' trailers with clerestory roofs. These cars were painted silver to match the unpainted aluminium of the Craven cars. This is a standard stock trailer interior. Note the flourescent lighting - fitted to match the Cravens motor cars. Aug 1973.
