Engineer training to build, building to make a lasting difference
Spc. Richard Kolbek and Spc. Justin Burneo of the 643rd Eng. Company, 84th Eng. Battalion, train on laying block prior to breaking ground for a two-room building constructed at the Engineer Training Area South Range on Schofield Barracks, Feb. 24. The building will be a replica of the building Soldiers will construct for elementary schools at
three different locations in the Philippines during the Balikatan 11 exercise.
Here on Schofield Barracks, the buildings will serve as training facility to
