A little 10cm square ornament that we bought a few weeks ago, set on a glass-topped indoor windowsill.
Lighting
Three old Vivitar 283 hotshoe flashes, Cybersync triggers.
Flash in 60x60cm double-diffused Lastolite softbox behind the setup (the white background).
Flash with cardboard snoot and blue gel (Lee 165, "Daylight Blue") right up against the softbox on camera-left.
Flash with cardboard snoot and pink gel (Lee 002, "Rose Pink") right up against the softbox on camera-right.
The double overlapping reflections in the foreground are due to the glass reflecting from both upper and lower surfaces. There is in fact also a faint third reflection (or rather a shadow) from the white-painted sill on which the glass is placed, slightly raised on little rubber spacers.
The light on the trees and front edges of the wooden frame is due to light bouncing back onto the object from the window frame on the camera side.
