Maximum Depth of Field
I chose maximum depth of field because I wanted to show clearly what she is looking at, it also shows the basic act of her looking at a map. Language is a barrier. It was one of Sofia’s biggest struggles upon arrival to the Northern Giant. This photo shows her will to overcome such obstacles. The dictionary is a tool she uses to make the most out of the country she lives in now, by eliminating her incapacity to communicate, by giving her the power to express her own self.
