Water has become an important issue for the majority of Lebaneses even though water pollution is one of the most dangerous threats that has to be battled.
The population dynamics, defined by the generation of trash that is discharged in the sea, are menacing the marine life paying special attention on the coast. The waterfront, dubbed as Corniche, is invaded by rats that have found in the land pollution the perfect environment to life.
People love to go with their children to the rocks that crowned all litoral during the sunset. However, they don´t have any remorse when they leave plastic bottles, cans, containers and everything that you can imagine floating in the water. Lebaneses haven´t installed on them the idea of preserving the nature: the ecological consciousness. All´s fair in a country with such a tumultuous period, in a country that is wick ready to ignite.
