This is the most ingenious development project ever conceived: low-cost connecting of Nepal's Himalayan hills to the internet, using the regular Wi-Fi equipment that you use in your home, and some good but uner-$100 antennas, to connect the villages of rural Nepal to the internet.
Access to communication gives the villagers great access to information resources - political, personal, technological, artistic, every kind of information - as well as being able to pursue goals never before attainable, like applying to universities in Nepal and foreign countries; corresponding with professors, professionals, and others; and keeping in touch with family working overseas in foreign countries or serving in foreign armies. Mahabir Pun is the genius behind it all.
