Stinkbug/Shield Bug or what? (See correct ID below)

These bugs seem to have an affinity for my sunflowers.

I am awaiting an ID from BugGuide.net from Iowa State University.

 

Just this morning I took down the remainder of my sunflowers. I hated to see them go but they were looking very tired and gnarly.

 

I now have the ID... Leptoglossus metrioptera (Leaf-footed Bug)
