Schooner Vega (prob. in the 1920s)
Three-masted schooner Vega af Thurø photographed in the sound of Svendborg (Denmark). Vega was built in 1919 by A.G. and R.P.Peterson, Thurø. The owner, Rasmus Sofus Hansen, was also from Thurø. Vega was in 1957 sold to Germany and in 1960 to South-east Asia.
The photo - here with my processing and colorization - is in the archive of the M/S Maritime Museum in Elsinore. The museum does not give any information about when the photo was taken. My guess is 1920s or 1930s.
