The cookie boxes are warming on the back of my shop lights - the lids are closed.
When some begin to sprout I raise the lid and cut it off and set the cookie box in the lid. The seedlings need air circulation so mildew doesn't form in the humidty and stagnant air.
The seedlings should be placed 2" from the light to grow. Sometimes I will place them outside where the light is better - if the day is warm. When the day cools I move them back to the grow lights for the night. Here the lights are on until I go to bed.
