Clips

Just to let all of you know who are reading this, it is going to be used as reference for most of the moves I am going to use in the animation.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQ_f6ENTFwk The first Video i found in Youtube is for basic boxing punches. In it you can clearly see how should the pose of a boxer be when trowing a punch. Foot, body and hand movement when hitting. From careful study of the clip i got that when the boxer throws a punch the leg moves whit the hand so the boxer can put all his body weight in the punch. If he is hitting with left hand the left foot is moved up and forward for just a second or two. If he is hitting with the right hand the heel of the right foot twists up again allowing the full body weight to be used in the punch.

This second Video from Youtube is of several fights of Muhammad Ali. Ali is an extremely fast and flexible boxer. When moving around the ring he is usually stepping only on his toes. Most of his punches are straight forward. What I mean by that is that when he trows a punch he is doing it from the shoulder, which makes it faster, rather than powerful.

The last Video from Youtube is of several fights of Mike Tyson. You should skip the first minute and a half. Tyson is a power boxer. What that means is that he leans forward and keeps his hand close to the body, and when he trows a punch he is using his full body mass, which makes the hit more powerful. He is using classical boxing moves like the ones shown in the first Video.

Please kids Don't try this at home :D :)
