2 LWB Land Rovers: a generation apart
Hi it's Sandy The Landy back in action.
Here I am with my stablemate, the 107" Series 1 107". My elder brother has a 2 litre IOE engine, with winches back and front.
After a long spell out of action I am finally back in the game. I now have an electronic distributor. The same unit as The Boss uses in his Austin Healey.
My 6 cylinder engine gives me loads of torque, so I am looking forward to towing again. Despite all the changes I still have some oil pressure issues.
The Boss runs me at c.50MPH, which is an ideal speed for me.
I am moving to England permanently where I will be accompanied by:
1. my old pal OSX 44 J
2.OVW 608
3. RGC 594 in May
4. YXP 87 above
Just the 5 of us. One big happy family of Vintage Land Rovers, all raring to go.
This year The Boss plans to concentrate on the Series 1's, but I will fill in with a few shows and lots of towing duties.
Will keep you posted on my plans.
