Kathy and I visited the Ventura County Fair last night and as usual it was a lot of fun.
Once again the amateur arts were much more inventive and interesting compared to the professional art. the quality of the work is higher at pro-art, but for sheer inventiveness I'll take this are hands down.
I would not have recognized this had my brother not shown me his.
It's a plastic form used to hold the patients position during radiation treatments. It's some sort of low temperature heat formed plastic that is stretched over you and then allowed to cool. This makes it a skin tight fit and allows very accurate positioning during the radiation.
He saved his because he wanted to wear it for Halloween.
I tried a bunch of different angles but ended up liking this one best.
