Tiny Bubbles

A very old garage sale item, one of those immiscible liquid wave toys. I had three, but it turns out that the plastic is not cheap stuff.

 

Maybe Lexan.

 

The pellet just bounced off, it's there to the left.

 

But the impact caused all sorts of transient bubbles in both liquids.

 

The thing is still intact, with a little ding in the side.

 

Who knew?
