Orange Glass Crackle Lamp
This picture is an example of why I'd love to have several tries at some targets. I had two of these orange glass pumpkins and used white paper for the background and a longer delay. It wasn't nice enough to post. With the second I was able to get a better background and shorter delay and to me a better photograph.
This image is a double exposure. the first light was from my firecracker. It lets out a lot of yellow light. You can see the cracks in the glass near the center because of this light. The second exposure is from two microsecond flashes which stopped (temporarily) the expanding cloud of glass shards as it started its trip into my garage.

The weather is going stupid again. Near nineties over the next days. I've noticed a pattern that may or may not be true but it seems when the East is getting absolutely dumped on with cold and snow, California gets this crappy heat wave stuff. It seems like global warming is giving everyone exactly what they don't need.
However we are all safe at this point since the Republican led Senate as finally voted to agree that climate change is happening. However, apparently humans have nothing to do with it. Only God can change the climate...
I don't know if anything can save this situation. Maybe if the 1% can figure out a way to make money off off nuclear warfare we can just call an end of the whole stupid farce.
