Metallic Christmas. Condylostylus sp., Long-legged Fly, on Fishtail Palm, KLCC Park, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Indeed, long-legged they are, these small, wonderfully colorful flies. There are a couple of hundred species and I can't distinguish all of them. Nonetheless, I'm always fascinated even without knowing their precise names. The scientific name refers to their long, jointed legs.
