Bees' Delight. Mesua saffron, Cobra's Saffron, and Asian Honeybee, Apis andreniformis (?), KLCC Park, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Ten years ago I posted a photo of a double flower of Mesua (www.flickr.com/photos/87453322@N00/3857915287/in/photolis...) in the Taman Botani at Putrayaja.
Beautiful Mesua grows as well in the KLCC Park, as the present photo demonstrates. In the earlier photo, there's also a Honeybee visitor, I think an Apis florea or cerana. The Bees I saw today could well be Andreniformis, given their dark coloring. But please correct me if I'm wrong...
