SS Mark, Afterdeck

SS Mark was the first Dutch ship that was sunk in the second World War. On September 9 1939 the ship hit a mine and sunk within minutes of the coast of Denmark. All 22 crew members were saved.

The very detailed model shows the Mark with a cargo of wood in the Baltic in winter.
