Silt Fence secured with gravel

Silt fence on the perimeter of a construction site, for erosion control / sediment control. Wisconsin, 2013.

 

The silt fence is on pavement, so the bottom can't be dug into the ground. Instead, gravel was used to secure the bottom of the silt fence.
