Strawfoot musette bag
I just received this charcoal waxed canvas flap musette from Strawfoot. This is the closest thing to a much used musette (well 2 actually) I had from Rivendell's first catalog. Sadly, those disappeared by the time I was ready to replace. The Archival Clothing musette is perfect and my current mainstay, but no longer in production.
This is a really well made bag, measuring 13.5" wide by 11.5". with an internal split pocket (really important for organizing your mess!) and an adjustable nylon strap. Their website suggests they will consider customizing orders with alternative materials, etc. For me, the $64 price was right for a nice handmade item made in the USA.
