Epoxy in vacuum oven

I switched materials to a traditional slow-cure epoxy that would give me plenty of time to mix.

 

Lowering the pressure pulls air out of the epoxy, making it clearer. It also removes bubbles near the surface of the mold, which could mar the result. You can see some of these bubbles have risen to the top surface.
