snowed in
Yesterday morning we woke to find ourselves stuck at home.
The driveway was blown over with drifts of snow 1-3 feet in several places.
Temps never rose above single digits with gusting winds up to -- i really don't know, but would guess 30-50 mph winds.
It would have been nuts to go out and plow in that sort of weather with the open-cab bobcat if no one needed to go anywhere. Besides, it could all blow over again.
By late afternoon the winds had died down some and the driveway was dug out by C and our neighbor.
(That's a friend's truck that got stuck on his way in to work at our shop. By the time this pic was taken another friend had plowed his way in, getting stuck in the process, worked his way out, and dragged this truck out of the drift onto the plowed part of the driveway.)
