Two skeins, for comparison
Top, self-striping skein: dyed with Hopi Dye Amaranth, then overdyed with a two month old batch of Coreopsis tinctoria dyebath, then half the skein was again overdyed in Walnut hull dyebath.
Bottom skein: Lady's Bedstraw roots.
