Patchy pocketed pants

What to do with a thrifted pair of corduroys that I've finally admitted, after a year of wearing them, that they don't fit all that well on the back side? Not sure why I bought them anyways as I don't like pants without back pockets. They're marginally more wearable, although I might be deceiving myself.

Used two favorite florals backed by a linen/cotton blend for strength.
