Treasure Square Project: Sewing the Folded Treasure Square

--Fold a third corner into the center of the square and stitch it to the other two corners at the points. This makes your square into an envelope with the fourth corner as the flap.

--Sew two seams to close the envelope along the fold lines.

--Stuff the envelope with treasure – a message, a memento, etc. -- and fold the flap over so the fourth point meets the other three points at the center of the square

– You can seal the Treasure Square permanently closed by sewing along both edges of the flap or leave it open by sewing on a bead or button and using that as the closure.
