Young California Quail (Callipepla californica) performs a lusty version of "Chi-ca-GO!" At the far end of Secret Swallow Lane, Lake Country, BC.

 

It is really painful for me to resist posting many more of the other shots he afforded me on this extended shoot from the car-blind's driver's seat through the passenger window..... Phew!!
