High Speed Train
First Great Western 43125 high speed train locomotive at the London end of the train we rode from Didcot. Note that "high speed" means "125 MPH," which is now slow by European standards. These 40-year-old locomotives continue to soldier on pulling trains at speeds that most American trains and only dream of achieving.
