A Time In Your Life
This view always takes me back.
I had just turned four, and it was one of those unusually warm days for April, standing by the water in my hometown of Ossining, looking out over the Hudson River as the sun started to go down. I didn’t understand much about life yet, but I remember the feeling like it was yesterday. Everything got quiet, and I just stood there watching, thinking about things I couldn’t even explain at the time. Questions like how, why, where just sat in my head.
That moment stayed with me. It may have looked like just another sunset, but it was more than that to me. That was the place that made me who I am. The place where my dreams were born.
There was something about being near the water, watching the sky change, that felt right. Like I was exactly where I was supposed to be. It gave me a kind of peace and curiosity I’ve been chasing ever since.
Even today, I know I don’t have all the answers. I’m still searching, still learning, and trusting God to lead me to wherever I’m meant to go next.
No matter where life takes me, this will always be home. Not just where I grew up, but where everything started for me. It’s a reminder that even when I don’t have all the answers, I’m still on the path I’m meant to be on.
