Saving facade
Carliol House in Newcastle, the one time HQ building of NEEB (North East Electricity Board) is a listed structure. A new office complex for HMRC is being constructed on a large site which includes the former Carliol House. The facade has had to be retained as a part of the new building and is shored up with steelwork whilst construction is undertaken.
