LNER took over operating what had been the East Coast franchise on 24th June 2018 following the failure of Virgin Trains East Coast (a 90/10% split between Stagecoach and Virgin). The launch was the following day. Here expensively rebranded 91105 is seen crossing the King Edward Bridge as it heads into Newcastle with 1S12, the 10:30 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh service on the 25th June 2018.
