Low Level
The 10:40 Hexham to Newcastle service in the hands of the then ubiquitous Class 101 DMUs heads through Gateshead on 18th February 1986. The low level shot was taken just before the train would enter the High Level Bridge. The tight curves here really make those Pacer wheels squeal! (It's a shame those Railbuses ain't real).
Penguin Garage to the left also used to be a Reliant dealer! One less potential tyre sale there then...
