Sheep somewhere along the English Scottish border 1979

Fort five years ago while traveling in a tiny rent a car decades before smart phones I had gotten lost in some very unorganized and not well planed out wandering. With the sun going down and not familiar with vagrancy laws and how seriously they were enforced in the UK I stumbled upon some field where a local farmer charged a whole quid to park for night at the edge of a sheep meadow. So at least I had some place to crash with the permission of the property owner. So in my duffle bag I had a one man tent and a sleeping bag and settled down for the night and luckily slept very soundly but at the crack of dawn I heard Baaahhhhh Baaahhhh! I open my tent to see some large sheep, cursed the sheep and threw one of my boots at it's head and missed. The sheep didn't give a crap and kept bleating until I got of my tent and yelled more profanities and it finally moved. Later that day I travelled around taking in the Highlands and made damn sure I had a decent proper hotel for the night.
