Desert Wandering Nevada

Just outside of Las Vegas I'm talking not even a half hour drive to the west you have the Red Rock National Conservation area, a place of many scenic views and interesting hikes most of which are not that strenuous which has long winding loop where you can just pull on the shoulder and do a little walking into and start exploring like I did over here. Though I recommend to do this area in the spring or the early fall as summer temperatures can get brutal. Surprising this area has a decent amount of wildlife with wild burros, coyotes, desert hares and turkey vultures quite common in the area.
