Custom Prototype Check-In Work Desk - KCLS
In 2002, KCLS staff ergonomically designed new height-adjustability desks for the purpose of checking in library materials. This desk is 48 inches wide by 30 inches deep. It has a transaction shelf that is 8 inches high and 10 inches wide. We used flat screen monitor arms to remove the monitor up and off the work surface. Staff have 20 inches of work space and a pull-out "bread board" for additional space when needed. A pensil drawer in located below table surface.
