Stanage Edge

There is actually a path to the top of Stanage edge, you don’t have to climb up like these people were doing😂😂😂.

 

This was taken back in springtime and a beautiful day it was. Standing on top of Stanage edge gives you some great views over the Peak District, the villages of Hope and Castleton are to the right and Hathersage is more below, although the views to the north are less impressive because it’s just flat moorland. It’s very popular with climbers, experienced and newbies alike and even though it’s not for me all the climbers seem to enjoy it.
