this is origami crane i made for grandma. unfortunately i didn't have enough time to fold 1000...
i gave her a red sweater too. both red colour and origami crane symbolize longevity.
and i read a Japanese poem for her. it's called "Ame ni mo makezu" from Kenji Miyazawa.
