Preserved J. Fishwick & Sons, Leyland, 5 528CTF - Leyland Titan PD2/40 - Weymann
This smart rare PD2 was new Fishwick's in 02/1958 and built to the lowbridge design with the off-side sunken gangway on the top-deck. These must've been really awkward to travel on upstairs, whereby the seats are on the left hand side capable of seating four passengers with a bit of a step up to the seats, and if you were hemmed in by the window or even the middle pair with not much headroom to boot! It is seen here on Haws Hill, Carnforth, near the railway station and is heading for Morecambe while at the RVPT Running Day on 29/05/2016. © Peter Steel 2016.
