Honda Civic SI Hatchback
I tried to get the transmission out of this car. There were two bolts I couldn't get to on the back of the motor because of how smashed the car was. That was pretty frustrating since I made sure to first undo the lower ball joints and one other bolt that was tough to get to because the car was bent from the crash. Other than that I had the whole transmission out in 45 minutes. Got dirty for no reason. It all went easy and then I couldn't make it happen.
My car has used up it's original transmission and two more used ones. I still have the last old one that I have some hopes of rebuilding if I can get the parts. The input shaft bearings have worn out each time. My car is pretty loud right now from it.
