Camel Vs Kamatashi
A silhoutte technique based on background image and foreground papercutting. The cutting is a Kamikiri art by Kamatashi and hence this title.
Kamiri is a technique where one cuts through a single sheet of paper continuously and this expert kamatashi even danced while he cut this stencil for me in less than a minute: only 2 pieces remaines this one and the remaining, both which were instantly ready for framing. He also taught me to do a butterfly which came out decent enough than my dance :)
The background is my first Oil on Canvas painting....Will have to try the shot again with out the plastic film holding the stencil..Now it seems blurred like through a tinted glass.
