Pontiac GTO (Holden Monaro)
This 5th Generation Pontiac GTO (model years 2004-2006) was a rebadged Holden Monaro built in Australia. It was Pontiac’s revived use of the storied GTO name since 1974 when it was simply stuck onto a compact class car similar to the Chevrolet Nova.
The Monaro was well-regarded as a front-engine/rear drive performance car in its homeland. In the US however, certain conditions limited its popularity.
