Our Beloved Shadow
We adopted Shadow as a little puppy in 1963 from an animal shelter in southern Los Angeles when we lived there. We think he was a spaniel-retriever mix of some sort. He made the move with us in 1966 to College Park East in Seal Beach. I took this photo while he was enjoying a treat in our back yard. He was a wonderful family pet! Shadow succumbed to illness in 1974. I get weepy-eyed every time I think of him.
